Hey I just got started and I am looking for other people to play with. I have the time to play a lot and have improved each time I have played. any pointers to move up in ranking, get qualified for tourneys etc.

Just want to see all there is to offer here...

Welcome.  Suggest you review Video Tutorials, Getting Started and FAQs info over there---->

Our top players are good...so get to know this place before advancing too quickly because you can't go back.  And be careful or you might get hooked (Smile)

    Hey Brian,

    Welcome to the game.

As you move on, you will probably (like most of us) stumble upon the same issues (difficulties with putting, some specific holes or courses (Bethpage maybe!!), quitters, swing meter issues, etc.) but don't let this discourage you. As Joey stated before, you'll find a lot of ressources here and just by searching those issues in the forum search box, you'll see how users have overcome those issues.

My advice to you, just play with the starter equipment until you get to PRO. That way you won't have to invest every time you change tiers.

    Good golfing!

    Rob
