  So after a couple starts and frustrating quits, I'm gonna go for broke and play the Oakmont qualifier all the way and see what I can do - Fisher Price clubs and all...  don't really have anything to lose, and I can't hurt my mediocre average that bad, I guess...   so, with that, let's see exactly how bad it goes...

  OK, RC, now here's what you do. Pencil one of those really nice drawings you do. Do something really nice for your wife and surprise her. Then, bring here over here and show her how just a few dollars could make you really good. The key is to soften her up! :-)

  I have an 88 on St. Andrews and a 97 & and 85 on Oakmont.

  Number 3: +2 after 4, birdied #4...   just took 3 gd'ed shots to get out of the rough on #5...  wtf?! I'm getting frustrated now. Screw it, I'm done.

  79 for first time on starter clubs, but I am going to take off 2 strokes, first hole I 4 putted because I forgot the default meter for the starter putter is 30ft instead of 15, first putt was fine since it was from 24ft, but my 3ft putt coming back I hit accidentally to what I thought was 3ft, but was really around 10ft, lipped out, rocketed 12ft past the hole.

  So when you go into the tent to certify your score you just say, "Take off 2 strokes because I screwed up." It's that easy? Sign me up for the PGA tour!!!!!!!!! lol
