After the free rental weekend, I had a chance to try out quite a number of putters. A few I liked and a few, not so much.

There were two I liked very much but for one thing. The 10, 20, 50 foot increments.

I've always played with putters using the 15, 30, 60 foot system.

If it were possible to change the increments of a putter from the prior to the latter I would definitely purchase it. The only thing deterring me from doing so is my apparent laziness to learn the new increments which might be gelled together with my familiarity of the 15, 30 increments. Having the option to switch from one to another with the same putter would be a great aid for those used to the old ways.

I dare say giving a player that option might mean better sales with certain putters?

Just a suggestion which would suit me if no one else.

    Tim

Hi Tim. I fully endorse your suggestion to have the option to pick our putter scale. For me, the Daytona putter is very good. I didn't like the idea of relearning the changes in the meter scale offered by most putters...so when I was ready for a new putter, I went with the Daytona. For now, I'll just stick to what I have.
