Multiplayer for CC & Tournaments

  First I'd like to say that I saw the video of the "Chat with Mr. WGT". Great idea. Thanks for taking the time to be a little more personable.

  As for Multiplayer for Tournaments. I heard Mr. WGT call us a community and that is so true. As we play this game we build up a friends list of people we trust, respect and enjoy playing the game with. We find a County Club with same caliber of people. There are other avenues we utilize playing the game where we meet and become good friend with others. Such as Skype, Ventrilo, Team Speak, Wgtls and I'm sure there are others. So there are many smaller communities out there. For me, I haven't used the "Join A Game" feature, since 3 months after joining WGT. The only time I would use that now is for a Match Play Challenge or a Skins game.

  What I'm getting at is this. I think we would all enjoy playing these Tournaments more (Country Club, Stroke play, Closest to the Hole and Ready Go's) with our friends. I put CC and Stroke play first because I thought those should go first in case you can only do one at a time. The thinking behind that is that the CC I am in, use those two  tournaments, for tournaments within the CC. I'm sure other CC's do the same. Even being able to Join a Game" would be a good feature with these.

  I for one enjoy playing these Tournaments for the competition with the top players, to see where I stand and how I am progressing, but don't really enjoy playing a game by myself. The only time I play a game by myself is when I am practicing different shots for yardages or many other reasons. Or if I only have limited time and want to get a quick game in to keep my timing.

  I know this has been talked about before. I went back a few pages looking but it is probably farther back. That could take for ever to find. I had thought that a few months ago I had heard you were gonna implement this feature but after listening to the chat with Mr. WGT I didn't hear anything about it. Wish I would of been there because I would of asked about it. I am going to try and make the next live broadcast and will bring it up. I've talked about this with friends I play with on Ventrilo and in the CC and they agree that it would be a nice feature to have.

  I agree 100% with this thought.I personally don't mind playing alone, since I play alot at my place of business and MP games are not feasable. But-----A very close friend and fellow CC member " hit the nail on the head" for me yesterday.( I had sent her a reminder to play CC tourney) Her response was that she really didn't like the tournaments because she hated playing alone.

  The way I see this matter from a business point of view is that WGT is losing alot of revenue by keeping players that don't like playing alone from playing the game. I wonder what % of players would play CC tourneys more if they knew they could hookup with a friend for a CC tourney round. I am seeing it more and more in our CC that some players never even enter the tourneys.Perhaps they just don't like playing alone also. No play = no balls used and no new ones needed !! It seems so simple to see I am surprised it has been overlooked and not dealt with by now.

  I wonder if we all switched to practice balls for solo games and only bought good balls for MP games if WGT would take our requests more seriously   ???? I know it would save me a ton of $$ every month !!.
