Upgrade recommendations...

  I am still very new to this game.  Yes, I am L33, but all I have done is some stuff on the side.   I get the yips sometimes and miss the center something awful.  Other times, I nail it often.  I am trying to determine where to upgrade:

  Current Equipment:

  RocketBalls (L7+) driver

  RocketBalls 3 Fairway (L8+)

  RocketBalls (L10+) Iron set

  Cleveland CG16 (56, 60, 64) wedges

  Taylor Made Spider putter (L19+)

   

  What would you recommend as an upgrade?

  upgrade suggestion (u'll do a lot better with these) :

  L29:  R11 Driver

  L30: R11 3W

  L32: R11 iron set

  keep the wedges, they are fine ..

  I did get the R11irons when I reached lvl32..found them very inconsistent,my average got higher,and I regretted the purchase,couldn't take them anymore and sold them and bought the G10s at lvl35.

  Soon as I reached lvl36 got the K15s which are great clubs,the dots don't tell their true worth..I still own them and will forever...lvl 32 R11s may as well be broomsticks imo..they do not compare at all to the higher level R11s that I will be purchasing..read the reviews on the lvl 32 R11s and you will see that most are bad comments..they are not all they are cracked up to be imo..rent them if you must.

  I was in the same boat as you as far as missing the center.  If meter speed is a concern, you might want to consider the Ping Rapture V2 Driver (L 24, 900 cr), Ping Rapture V2 3W (L 24, 250 cr), and the Ping Rapture V2 Irons (L 25, 1400 cr).  I used those and it was easier to get closer to center with the slower meter.  The stats are lower then the R11's but the meter is slow and they are cheaper.

  Either one would be an upgrade to what you have and the R11's might work because even though their meter is faster then the Rapture's, it's still slower then the RocketBalls you currently use.

  As was already mentioned, keep the wedges.

  Go with those ^^^^, great L30 to L59 set, where you can get the G20s...gl...Andy
