Private Chat with MisterWGT!

  Hello community!

  I am here to announce a very special event that will take place sometime in January. We will be holding a "private" chat with MisterWGT, which will be held through Google Hangout. If you have never used Google Hangout before, here is a link to the website. The setup is fairly simple (You need a Google+ account), but if anyone has questions about it they can email Google support or message me directly

  We are still going to use Twitch.tv for all of the future "Chat with MisterWGT" sessions. This is a unique event, on a unique platform.

  MisterWGT himself will be joining 10 of you lucky community members in a 30-60 minute intimate face-to-face chat. To participate in this chat you must own a webcam. Once you are certain you have a webcam to use, please submit a question for MisterWGT in this thread.

  This special chat session will have a different direction than the "Chat with MisterWGT" held on Twitch. This private session will be focusing specifically on existing features and products that currently exist within WGT. We want to hear what you love about the current status of the game, as well as areas that you feel we can improve on.

  Ten questions will be selected from this thread and will be the topics of discussion during this chat. You will be able to communicate with MisterWGT in real time, face to face, about what is on your mind in regards to the current state of WGT. We will briefly go over the content of this event during the following Chat with MisterWGT (on twitch.tv).

  I look forward to watching this thread develop, and as a reminder, please submit questions about the current status of products and features within WGT.

  Why have I aged so much the past two years?

   

  For proof I will put up a pre-WGT pic of me to view next to my webcam.

   

  Just kidding, sounds like a cool idea, but my mug should never be viewed live;)

  I Would certainly appreciate the opportunity to have a private chat with MisterWGT.

   

  What I would like to discuss is Country Clubs.
  I would like to improve our CC features and realise many other Country Club owners are looking for improvements as well.

  I have many of my own Ideas as well as other ideas i have found interesting and valuable from these forums.

  My chat would not only benefit my own Club, but all other Clubs in the community. 

  In my opinion there are many frustrations Owners experience in the running of their club. 

  Many of the improvements involve developing and encouraging low tiered players.This will prevent much of the inactivity of these players, increase their interest/ enthusiasm in their early days and therefore help increase revenue to WGT by the early development and retention of these players. 

  The topics/ enhancements for existing Country Clubs/ Owners options I would like to discuss;

   

  • Ability to create Tiered Based CC tournaments
  • Improvements to existing features for communicating with members. Messaging etc. and vice versa, communicating with the owner.
  • Creating country club Tournaments with incentives provided from within the Club Community - Integration of resources.
  • Enhancements to owners tools in respect of CC invitations/ promotion & selection criteria.
  • Ability to enable Club 'co-owners/ lieutenants' with optional club priviledges allowing help for the Owner
  • Improved CC forum 'admin tools'.
  • Increased level of Owners & Members options.
  • Owners ability to delete/ edit  content from within the Club environs.
  • Some improvements to forum formatting options - to increase ease of use for all members
  • CC Menu options within a members Profile page

   

   These are some of the most pressing items that have been discussed in the WGT Forums and will continue to be discussed at an excessive degree.
  Perhaps I have doubled up on some points in my enthusiasm to post my submission. 

  If I am fortunate enough to be included in these 10 to chat with MisterWGT, I would also be open to & encourage suggestion from other owners for any inclusions they feel are pertinent and/ or I may have missed in this list.

  I would prepare my questions and suggestions to be succinct and informative with clear and definite reference.

  No need for me, we are going to play at Black Bear Golf Club in Eustis Fl. next time he is out...lol  But good stuff Chad, the 10 lucky people are going to love this opportunity!

  oh yeah, i would love to ..

  i would have questions on:

  - game physics related issues .. UEL & shot shaping .. new features such as these should be properly researched to make them as realistic as i find the balance of WGT's game physics model to be .. speaking from a position of real life golfing experience on these

   - additional option functions under "menu", i.e. mulligan in practice or single hole mode, being able to save a game, but also being able to play practice hole before resuming the saved game, ball selection option, disabling flashing chat box icon, a/s mode for skins & stroke play .. etc etc

  not sure whether some of these issues would be regarded as additions and/or changes to existing functions or regarded as issues not relating to what we currently have .. i guess the dividing line can be somewhat confusing

  This sounds like a plan! I'd like in but am going to think about something relevant to discuss as opposed to why this does that and that does something else.  I'm interested in the big picture, long time style, and what facilitates that success.

  Uneven lies is a key, IMO, and I would like to see that available to CC owners, even if just in practice mode. Along with that a discussion about the possibilities of giving the player more options in stance/club adjustment to deal with them.

   

  Can we get uneven lies in CCs?

  What is your realistic goal- refinement and time of implementation-  with regard to expanding the use of uneven lies?

  Uneven lies is a good feature. Will there be refinements to the current state of them and will they become a staple in tournaments?

  A multi-player option for CC tournaments.
