The New Year looms...

  and I would like to see WGT set up some kind of league which would run through-out the year.

  Maybe a 36 hole tourny every month with a small prize to the month's winner. Have 11 of these then for the 12 th month, maybe take the top 30/40/50 points leaders from the previous 11 month's and let them have 1 final tourny which would have a decent prize for the eventual winner.

  Just a suggestion, what's the chance's?

  We had similar ideas is past and main question is: how many people would participate in it month to month. What do you guys think?

  we're up to 2 so far :)  I think these are fun and good ideas for sure.

  If there was 3 really decent prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd for the big final tournament on the 12th month, and the top 50 scorers from the previous 11 months tournies qualified, then this would give a good incentive to at least 70/80 people to try qualify throughout the year imo.

  Then on top of this, if you had a monthly prize, you might still get ppl go for this prize even if they are out of the running for qualifying for the biggie at the end of the year.

  You need something that is fun  + challenging + a fast pace..

  I like Steve's  idea. Maybe be broke down into tier groups, with the winners of that group, plays the winners of the other tier group, to finally crown King  or Queen of WGT, with a nice trophy and  credit's to the winner. It could be an annual thing

  Along the way there could be  categories that people could win each week

  Hole in one prize

  Double Eagle

  Longest putt made

  Just a thought

  I'd play it for sure. Just please don't make it repetitive with the high winds and championship greens. Mix it up every round, so we can see some real competition.
