ok what am I missing

  The Max putter ( master level ) has the exact same stats as the NEW  Max putter (lvl 80) and is cheaper by 250 credits . Also how does BALANCE affect how a putter works

  I was just looking at that too, is something wrong there or does WGT want lower levels to pay more for clubs that they would have to wait on otherwise.

  Hi canuck1056,

  I think this excerpt from our blog might clear up this situation:

  "Based on comments from top WGT players, we've added a third MAX Control Putter, unlocking at Level 80, and with swing meter increments that tend to be preferred by top players: 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 200 and 300 ft."

  If I may, a common question. This is the putter's tendency to hold the line on longer putts. Imagine a 15 footer with a putter that feels like a feather and isn't weighted properly. The ball almost deflects it unless you have an iron grip on it. Then think of how it feels when you have weight in the right places and all you have to do is hold on, it goes so nice.  :-)

  It appears that this Max putter is geared towards the players that use one of the 2 Redwood putters as the lower increments, with the exception of the added 10 foot and 60 foot increments,are the same as the 2 Redwoods. They only change after the 90 foot increment. With 120 instead of 150 and the added 200 foot increment.
