  I know, WGT is trying to deliver to their web golfers an experience as much close to the real thing as possible, with photo realistic scenery and views taken from the best Golf Courses in the World, and this is just beautiful.

  But I say, human brain is the best tool that can deliver powerful imagination... why not use it?

  My suggestion is... design a golf course out of your imagination, and deliver it with photo realistic technology.
  This way you would not need to wait for approval from the true Golf Course owners, as well as you would not need to pay them royalties or withstand silly contractual terms.
  And you would have infinite freedom on what and how much golf courses you can release every year!

  Photo-realistic means somebody physically took thousands of pictures of the actual golf courses on site. Those pictures were melded together by super computer geeks into the game.

  If you think what I say is not possible, think again.

  You really can have photo realistic, same-as-life golf courses, you just need to be skilled.
  Photo realistic does not necessarily mean you need to  take photos of an existing course.

  You can take pictures of terrain, trees, all nature's features, and put them together, the same way you would with a real course.

  With the above mentioned super-computer we have these days, this is indeed very possible, you just need to use imagination.

  See where I'm going?

  PS: very powerful computer are accessible at affordable prices nowadays.

  You might consider Links 2003 You can get the Course Converter and design and play any type of course you want.

  Part of the magic of WGT is playing actual championship courses rather than a purely computer generated course. Sure it is possible to make a good looking course but I dont think that is the direction WGT should go.

  Start making "imaginary courses" and I for one would lose interest. Maybe fine for the gamers out there, but golfers like myself want actual courses.
