why should there be tournaments just for americans

this is discrimination against the rest of us

i have bought credits with my hard earned cash and then i get discriminated against entering certain comps

they even give  away a free ball for entering but only to usa

this is a joke on the rest of us

    Hi

I can assure you, it's not meant to. Sponsored tourneys, have limits for many reasons, with some being laws and sponsor requirements.

Just like AD's you see on TV are sometimes tied to your own market, same can be said for tournaments.

Our goal is to always bring tournaments for everyone to play in, just sometimes it's not possible.

Alcohol promotions in particular are subject to various legal controls around the world. Not to mention that only in America can sparkling wine that is not Champagne nonetheless be marketed as champagne, which of course it is not.

I wouldn't be upset if Dom Pérignon or Moet Chandon sponsored a Europe only Tourney.

Technically no sparkling wine that does not come from the Champagne region of France is really considered champagne even if labeled as such.

    Korbel=Cheap Mimosas

    Moet Chandon=Good Mimosas

Dom Pérignon=Only a dumb ass would use for Mimosas

if you are going to have a tournament for US only please don't advertise it the rest of the world. queston: why can't non-americans enter the tournamnt and just not be eligible for the grand prizes? this game is great but this is one of the problems you need to work out.here's a prize BUT sorry you're NOT eligible. i know what champaign i won't buy!! great advtertising!!

There's 1 player in joint 153rd place that's from New Zealand.

He only had to be American to sign up, I've been a US citizen myself today for about 30 seconds. I changed back and am still allowed to play in the tourney. Won't do it out of principles though.

P.S.: But the ball is a real corker ;-)

Edit: the answer to the poster below this post is yes.

This is all hypothetical of course, and I'm certainly not advocating it....but if someone was to say, "cyber-move" to the US to enter this tourney....and then "cyber-move" back to NZ after entering......would that work?  ;)
