sorry for this really noob question, but i couldn't find the answer anywhere.....
does the wind indicator point towards the wind direction (eg, where the wind is coming from) or in the direction the wind is blowing ?

The wind gauge indicates the direction the wind is blowing. So, if you see the gauge pointing at 3 o'clock you can expect the ball to tail right while in flight.
