Increase in foul mouthed players on WGT

Now correct me if I am wrong

I thought this site was to have fun - play a few rounds - maybe even make a few friends - and have a good time - thats what me and my friends try to do

Recently - something has changes - there has always been a few screwballs on here - who get thier kicks from traumatising and abusing people - but it;s getting more commonplace right now - and the screwballs are taking over the asylum

If this continues to happen - and you continue to do nothing about it WGT - you gonna start losing players and your income!!!!

Anyone got any thoughts how to combat this?

Click the "account"-button. All the way to the right click the "block players"-button. Enter the username, click "Block" and they won't bother you again (I guess, not blocking anyone yet myself). Doesn't prevent a first offense though, but better than nothing.

You could join a bigger country club.

not quite sure what joining a bigger CC would achieve Courteneyfish - you care to expand on that one? Vike

I blocked over hundred players, and I still see them every once in while joining Alternate Shot. There is no perfect cure for it. The blocking only keeps them from asking to be friends or post on your profile wall. You will see them in the forums and in the games still. So it is a small work around.

Do what WGT suggests. Take a screen shot of the abusive or offensive behavior and send that screen shot to WGT. There are 1000's of people playing every day and WGT does not monitor in game chat so the only way that they know what these offensive players are doing is by us letting them know.

Sure you can block them but that will only help you. But my letting WGT know what these players are doing will help us all.

That screen shot only works to a certain point, because the chat is not extendable to get all of their bad behavior. Just a few words caught is not enough. You don't have enough time in game to do like 5 screen shots in lets say 60 second game or 90 might barely get enough screen shots, because they will complain even more trying to do all that and wasting time not playing. Plus you can only add one screen shot. So far has this actually worked, because I hear wgt say to do and other members to do it, but never heard the actual outcome of doing it. So what is the outcome? Really.
