Catching the spirit

  In the spirit of all the gift giving going on around here...I'll put in my share....with a twist.    Trivia....

  This first one (I'll do another for the rest of the planet)....is designed for those in North America...although anyone can enter if you have the answer.

  Any driver, fariway wood, putter or wedge you want (that I can buy....cannot get the R11S yet) to the first person that posts the correct answer to the following sports trivia question.

  There have been 6 team names that have been active in 2 different major sports (of the top 4----football, basketball, baseball, hockey) at the same time since 1980...For example...The Los Angeles Mud of the NFL and The New Jersey Mud of MLB....both teams shared the same team name.....and were active at the same time... The keys are....They had to be active, and using the same name in the same sports year....so, some team from 1981 and one from 1990 don't count unless they were active during the same year.  Got it?

  Name all six. You must list the city, team name and sport.......be the first...and choose your weapon.

  the Cardinals (NFL Arizona, MLB St. Louis), Rangers (NHL New York, MLB Texas), Giants (MLB San Francisco, NFL New York)Kings (NBA Sacramento, NHL L.A.)Panthers (NFL Carolina, NHL Florida)!

  Ty, I'll take 1 sleeve of L48 Nikes and would like to pass the 2nd to the guy  who was 2 minutes late (ahades), but much more elaborate.

  Great gesture, sir. All you generous people got me planning something similar in the near future.

  P.S.: I got lucky I logged on during a commercial break, just in time for the bonus question.
