A question regarding drivers , i've just been put up to legend and find the longer tees are  , well  , a lot longer .

I'm level 71 and have the level 58 G20 driver , would it be worth my while getting  the level 69 Rocketballz ?

I know it's only 5 yards longer , but every little helps . Also , is the fact  it's only medium loft in any way detrimental ?

Thanks in advance for your hopefully helpful comments .

I'd suspect that high loft is worth more than a few yds.

Real help is at level 83 - the "big" G20s, or at 90 - R11's.

I've not made your level so I don't hit the extra yards but the level 83 G20's are excellent, at least for me. Save your credits.

Well if every little bit helps, then pull the string on it, level 81 is still a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks away when you should pull the string on that puppy for sure.

The RBZ will crap on your current driver as it goes by in all winds. Same meter also, definite plus.

^^^ Yup, used mine till L90, well into Legend tier. The forgiveness is a factor too.

There are only 3 or 4 holes where you will have to 'box clever' because of the med traj. It matches the high level G20s 95% of the time and goes further in wind.

Agreed with all...I'm waiting to Level Up before making any more purchases...Currently with the G20 Level 84 Complete Set and love them! As soon as I make Legend, tho, I can see the need to upgrade my equipment.

    As for the time factor:

Level 81 at 222.415 XPs, almost 72.000 from level 72.

Level 90 @487.000. XXL patience necessary.

Until recently, I played the same club setup you have. I loved the lower level G20's. Then the tees moved back...

When I've played alt-shot and another player had the L69 Rocketballz driver, I was amazed at the distance they got, especially in heavy wind. Caveat: I did find that players tend to spray the ball around, however. More missed fairways than I find acceptable.

The L81 G20 is easy to ding/near-ding and quite foregiving of off-ding hits. I find it easily provides me an extra 10-30 yards compared to the L59 G20 driver when playing a decent ball. All depends on wind conditions, course, and how I use spin. Still experimenting and learning.

It's a bit of a slog to L81 for you, and many, many months until you reach L90. I can understand why you're looking for any extra distance you can muster given you're playing from Legend tees. Obviously, if you have the credits to spare, rent the L69 Rocketballz and give it a good workout. Good luck to you.
