  who was one of the best players to ever play  basketball at CAROLINA and went on to the NBA  and was one of the best player to ever play the game ?

  Thanks you sir, Jordan was my NBA hero throughout his career, certainly one of the best to ever think he could fly!!

  1. Hakeem Olajuwon - Houston - Picked by Houston Rockets
  2. Sam Bowie - Kentucky - Picked by the Portland Trailblazers
  3. Michael Jordan - North Carolina - Picked by Chicago Bulls
  4. Sam Perkins - North Carolina - Picked by Dallas Mavericks
  5. Charles Barkley - Auburn - Picked by Philadelphia 76'ers

  Olajuwon - Great Player

  Bowie - One of the worst picks ever that high in the draft

  Jordan / Perkins - what a 1-2 punch for North Carolina

  Barkley - perhaps the worst golfer picked in that years draft.  The Model for the WGT Stuttering Meter.    What stutters more - his meter or his golf swing ???
