Question was which European country were they from, not where were they playing out of.

Thanks Lizard. Perhaps if Ducati doesn't want to wait until we are both at L94, he can gift you something instead - you did get 5/6!! I'm always happy for a ball top-up, but the R11s driver and 3wd are the only things left I'm playing for.

    Oldbayrunner:

Not trying to start an argument but at the time Martina Navratilova won that Us Open She was Listed as a US citizen and shows as a winner from the US

    1986 US Open – Women's Singles

United States Martina Navratilova defeated Czechoslovakia Helena Suková 6–3, 6–2

Hence the "europe" part of the question, which was there to trick us..

    Awesome quiz though

Wasn't Anke Huber german? I think they played in a final, but not at exactly the same time as Becker/Stich.

Wooden tee's are sooo 1990's, we use plastic nowadays :-)

Unless it's an iron of the tee then we use half a wooden one lol

Therefore the only country with all finalists from the same Citizenship is the 1982 Wimbleton.

Just thought I would make mention.

Thanks Bay...I think I worded the question as...players "from"....picky I guess, but, I wanted to make sure it was correct to the wording in the question
