The title is deceiving

Thanks for posting this helpful info!

To be clear - the suggestion was made to create a new thread on this topic if anyone wanted to discuss it further.

With that in mind, I suggest changing the title of the thread to let the players know about the useful information in here :)

    Stay classy,

Pizza, hope you can help me here. I have already e-mailed WGT about this, but didnt get a satisfactory answer. We hold a Shot and Putt of the month competition in our club, and the winning shots are all placed on our website by posting links to the replays.

I was under the impression that once you saved a replay by posting a link, then it was always there. 1 of these links no longer works, and the replay is no longer on the member who shot it's profile. We need to get that link working, as we are now going to hold a Shot and putt of the year competition from all those saved replays.

Am i correct in saying that a replay should always be there once the link has been posted somewhere? If this is the case, then can you help me out on the replay we are trying to get?. I have the link which i can send to you.

Same question as in other thread, if you have already saved replay can you not then 'paste' ? Pressed copy and nothing happened, didn't get the screen that Dazza showed.

    Thx again 'mnshiner'

Unless it quits working like a few weeks ago, you can always e-mail your replays to your self and have as many as you want on a special replay folder.

The link i have is from November. We chose our winning shot on the 3rd of this month by viewing this link, so it was working nicely only just over a week ago. The reason we need this link is its the November winning shot, and we are picking the yearly winner from all the monthly winning shots. Its going to suck big time if we cant get this link working, as this shot was a real contender.

    Pizza?

When you press copy nothing will happen. It is when you go to post is when you right click and the menu pops down you want to hit paste and your link will appear.

I do it differently than most folks when I post mine. I hit the far right hand box that says HTML and paste my link first.

Then ahead of my link I will post what I want to say.

My posts look something like this:

What I want to say

Description

It is not as complicated as it seems.

If you save a replay in the normal way and then post a link to the forum it is only doing a link to your saved replay so if you delete it then the link is gone too.

If you post the link to the forum straight after the shot by clicking on share button instead of save then the replay will always be there.

    Hope that makes sense.
