How about increasing the number of "Active threads" from 5 to say 10 or 12. With the amount of posting that goes on here, many times useful or interesting posts get lost off the list before they have a chance to get read or responded to by most folks who are not constantly monitoring the forums.

I have to agree with you sixkiller. I like to read, and I can't do that if there's no good threads to look at.

In the absence of WGT changing this, just click the Active Threads link and you see all of the threads.

I tried using My Threads and The active threads settings. They always default when you try to choose "new since last visit" after you close your browser and come back you have to do it again. Plus it is not very precise either for example...You may see a thread your active in but it wont show the threads new post until you go into it from the main forum instead.

This whole forum is very primitive and I still for the life of me cant understand why WGT doesnt get rid of this and use a Proboard style forum.

I guess it would take some work and cost moeny to pay people to do the job but its not like they dont have the money.

They can do like the American govt and just raise taxes to build :)

I haven't had a problem using this workaround. I don't bother with the sort function, it's faster to scroll through the list. Threads you haven't read or that have been responded to since your last look are easily identifiable at a glance. Change has been asked for for years and doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon.

Thats a shame because this community deserves better from WGT.

Jim is correct, clicking the TITLE 'Active Threads' opens this page
