St. Andrews # 12 - 2 EAGLES BACK TO BACK STA Rounds- SAME DAY - AND THEN DISASTER (X2) At #17

  Hi all...

  Here's a "WGT Oddity".....

  I've just played 2 Rounds on St. Andrews - and I managed to score an EAGLE on # 12 each time.  Back to Back STA Rounds

  EAGLE # 1 - Wedge Out of the Rough (Right Side)

  EAGLE # 2 - Wedge  from the Fairway (Left Side)

  Sadly, what could have been a qualifying score - in each case - destroyed by #17 The Road Hole.  (LOL).  

  Round # 1 - Carried a -7 onto the 17th Tee.  Scored a 7 on # 17.  Left the green at -4.  Finished the round at 68 (-4).

  Round # 2 - Carried a -5 onto the 17th Tee.  Scored a 6 on # 17.  Left the green at -3.   (And then another disaster at 18.)  Finished the round at 71 (-1).

  Just another day at WGT.  I will keep hacking.

  ever tried layin up with your second....leave yourself a 90 wedge, next to the flag....bogey at worst! i managed to scramble a 65 (it wont hold out) bogied 17 though!
