Instant messenger client

  I'm tired of receiving messages way too late for them to be relevant. I see that a real time forum for chatting an finding games as been suggested and that would be nice. But beyond that, I think an instant messenger client attached to the game in the vein of facebook chat or gchat is necessary. I think it is kind of ridiculous that I have to constantly refresh my inbox and/or club discussion forum page in order to have a conversation with someone.

  Try skype,  you can voice chat or text chat.  Works great for that.

  i would agree 100% - we have the friends list so surely its not that difficult to add chat into there??

  the skype thing works ok with your club members (that u already have added ofc) and regular playing partners - but if i want to be able to message people on my friends list to try organizing a game of skins at RSG, without going through the whole process of setting up the game then inviting everybody (one at a time) from the list only for them all to deny (one at a time also)..... it sucks

  an IM feature would be really nice

  Skype is an okay work around for now, but it's just one more thing to open and slow down your computer. Also, sometimes I want to log into WGT on a public computer that doesn't have skype and you can't download it either. It would just be way more convenient to have a chat client connected to the site itself.
