    I have been researching for a club to join. What I have not been able to determine is, do I need to have;

    • Skype and/or webcam
    • Facebook or Tweeter account
    • Any other means of communicating with the members other than what is available here on WGT.

I am only a few months old in this community. I play daily. Mostly stroke play against myself, so I can take my time to learn the game. Also getting more active on the forums as well.

Any and all information welcomed and appreciated. :-)

    TIA

While Skype or other voice programs may enhance the pleasure of being in a club, they are certainly not required to be in most clubs.

The club experience can be fun even without those things, providing the club is active.

Invite sent. As long as you play in a few competitions you'll be fine with me.

    ZM,

Since you are a Level63 TierPro Average Score74.95 the Texas Roundup CC has CC for each Tier, they have alot of tourneys and it is ran very well. Just a suggestion ...

Happy Golfing, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

    Why not look around,  inside?

Joining a CC is cost and pain free as is leaving, check'em out and take the next blossom if necessary.

Don't be shy to knock on the doors provided you aren't a member anywhere.

Sometimes it helps to see where your friends' home is, sometimes it comes along with country or language, or the means of communication. Regarding this subject, it helps to be aware what you want and - more important - do not want.

    Most important: Have fun!

Thank you all for the friendly advise and invitations. Think I will be knocking on some doors, just don't want to be a club hopper.

LOL - nice pic for my CC - pocketed!

    About hopping:

CCs are quite secluded from outside - you see the members and a club message which may be meaningless.

You have to enter to learn about their habits, their tournaments, their community life.

I deem it understandable if so. leaves as soon as he sees that it doesn't fit him - it's an online game not marriage after all :)
