I'm not much of a note taker when it comes to this game. Some folks swear by taking copious notes, strapping all manner of aids to their computer apparatuses. Whatever works for ya, whatever your goals, act accordingly, I say. Personally, I'm not on a fast march to Legend. Neither skills nor funds show themselves in abundance in my life. If I were so graced, I'd be one of those notebook-fillin' folks; you betcha!
That stated, I made an exception when I 'purchased' the L44 Redwood ZB Putter (which I love a heapin' bunch). Putting is massively important in this game. So, lotta time spent I, seeking patches of flat green, repeating putts over & over & over...my numbers continue to be a work in progress. Take some time and put them to the test.
My numbers, based on each green speed to which I have access:
15ft Increment:
6ft per movement - 'Slow'
7ft per movement - 'Fast'
7ft per movement - 'Very Fast'
9ft per movement - 'Tournament'
30ft Increment:
6ft per movement - 'Slow'
7ft per movement - 'Fast'
7ft per movement - 'Very Fast'
9ft per movement - 'Tournament'
45ft Increment:
8ft per movement - 'Slow'
9ft per movement - 'Fast'
10ft per movement - 'Very Fast'
14ft
per movement - 'Tournament'
90ft Increment:
12ft per movement - 'Slow'
14ft per movement - 'Fast'
14ft
per movement - 'Very Fast'
19ft
per movement - 'Tournament'
150ft Increment:
15ft per movement - 'Slow'
17ft per movement - 'Fast'
17ft
per movement - 'Very Fast'
22ft
per movement - 'Tournament'
300ft Increment:
30ft per movement - 'Slow'
35ft per movement - 'Fast'
40ft per movement - 'Very Fast'
42ft per movement - 'Tournament'
Caveat: The greens at each course seem to have speed variations unto themselves. Hole to hole, even. Or perhaps I've embraced too many entheogens this lifetime? I dunno.
Well, there you have it: 1000 words when 100 would've done the trick. Good luck & enjoy!
