Welcome one and all to The 1st Annual extragold/IvaThongon Kiawah 7 Iron Challenge!
The rules are simple. Set up a ranked front 9 at Kiawah with a friend. The only clubs you are allowed to use are a 7 iron, and a putter. Yes, that's right, no driver, no hybrids, no wedges...a 7 iron and a putter. Honor system is fine, you guys can police yourselves. Sometimes you'll have to look for an alternate tee box to try to land on, sometimes you will have not much but a swing and a prayer, but you will laugh at yourself and have fun. Take a picture of your scorecard and let us know how you did. I suggest using the free golf balls, you may lose a bunch. No need to cost yourself anything.
I hope to see a few of you join us in this. We will pick two "winners" from the entries and try to set up a 9 hole final in which we use only a mystery club.
