I'm at level 58.. I'm gonna get the Ping G20 driver and woods today.. Heres my question.. There isn't that much difference in meter speed between the Ping G20 irons and the Ping K15 irons I have now..Can I get away with using the irons I have now for awhile ? Or are the two different meter speeds gonna screw things up.. Is this a bad idea ?  I'm about to change tiers and get pushed back to the blue tees so I'll need to get a little more out of my driver at least.. What would you do..

Hi, the G20 irons become available at level 59, so once u reach that level i would suggest getting them. The extra distance they give u will help a lot from the "master tee".  You can probably use the g20s until u can get the top level r11 irons..

You also might want to consider dumping the hybrid and adding a 3rd wedge. (most players feel this is vital to scoring well)

The Driver and the 3 wood are the clubs I'll get now but the irons will have to wait.. Work has been slow so I'm managing my money.. That's fine.. So I will use the K15 irons for now.. I have a  friend.. I'm sure you guys know her.. Her name is Kelsey.. She's very good and has been a huge part of my game.. I try to do the old monkey see monkey with her and copy what she does.. Like when it came time buy wedges.. I look at her equipment first then go to the pro shop.. We played nine at Bethpage a week or two ago and shot a 28 while she was chit chatting away.. I was thinking how is she doing this.. Every approch shot a yard or two from the pin.. Super good player and very helpful.. One thing..I noticed is.. She has three wedges in her bag.. Thanks you guys..

I believe you just called me a monkey... lol. You're too kind, Scott.

I like the G20's - slow meter, very forgiving. As long as the yardage difference between your 3 wood and 3 iron isn't excessive, it should last you into the higher levels, and the 3 wedge set-up will work swell with it.
