  Someone was kind enough to give me a gift. How can we give gifts to people with whom we've played? How can this happen?

  What is Gifting?

  Gifting allows a WGT member to give a club, sleeve of balls or an avatar to a friend, whether they are a WGT member already or not. Eligible equipment will display a GIVE AS GIFT button next to the BUY NOW button in the Pro Shop.

  Who can I give gifts to?

  You can give a gift to a WGT member or to friends who are not WGT members. If you give a gift to a WGT member the item will automatically show up in their inventory after you send it to them. If you send a gift to a non-WGT member the item will be placed in their inventory after they create a WGT account.

  What items can I send as gifts?

  You can gift items from the Pro Shop that are available to all levels of players.

  Do I get anything in return if I send a gift?

  Yes. If you send a gift to a non-WGT member and that person registers to become a member you will receive a free sleeve of WGT GI-D golf balls. Then, if that person spends $10 or more in WGT you will receive 200 credits in your account as a bonus!

  How can I be sure my friend received the gift?

  You will receive an email after your friend registers as a member of WGT. If you sent a gift to an exiting WGT member you can Private Message them to make sure they received the gift.

  Can I send an item I already own or do I need to purchase a new item?

  You must purchase a new item if you plan on giving it as a gift. You cannot gift items that are already in your inventory.
