Okay, hopefully someone can answer this just to confirm that I am in fact letting this game drive me insane.

So when putting obviously once you have dinged the stroke the program knows immediately whether you made or missed the putt.  My question is is the program designed to TORTURE the player by having nearly every missed putt roll right over the edge of the cup or come up jjjjuuuuusssssssttttt short right in the jaws nearly every time?  I have had some rounds where it just seems like everything was off by mere millimeters.

I am not a conspiracy theorist so I know that missed putts are my fault but I am just wondering if the programmers have this sadistic feature built into this game.

Thanks for reading this, it was tough to type it through all of the brains on my monitor, since my head exploded after my putting performance in my last round.

That's not the only sadistic feature they've built into the game.  Similar to what the golf gods have built into the real game.

Hence the use of a flask while playing...

That's simply a result of becoming a really good putter.  When you miss, it ain't by much.

LOL, i can relate to near misses lately. I played 9 on Oak yesterday but missed 6 or 7 putts by the narrowest margin but other days they just drop.

No need to torture yourself, its good putting to get them so close, and somedays as I said, they will just drop - just like the real game - line and speed have to be perfect.

You have to use HTML. Here is a Website to help you

OR ... use the 'Insert Media' function of this forum!

Your image must have an associated URL - it can't exist only on you computer, or a password-protected web-site.

    1. There are a number of image capture programs available (I use SNAGIT - http://www.techsmith.com ) to create the initial image. The format must be in a dedicate image format, like .jpg or .gif - and save it to an easy to find spot on your PC (I save to DeskTop).

    2. Upload the image to a public-accessible website I use PhotoBucket, but there are many others available. This will make your image retrievable from the net.

    3. Copy the URL of the uploaded image.

    4. Click on the Insert Media button when you're creating your post here:

... and you'll get a pop- box to paste the image url into, then insert it into your post.

I made that image above with SnagIt, which included editing in the arrow and description, then uploaded to Photobucket, copied the url there, and inserted it here - all in less than a 2 minutes.
