    Good job Shrude :)

    Mainly the first one :

Ability to create tier based tourneys for single tiers or multiple tiers.

    ----

In regards to delete post or edit in the CC Forum , no problems on our side, it works very well :)

.  Most of the time when there is a problem like this, it's because a change of CC ownership occured.

    ------

    Also excellent suggestion Caroline.

I think the biggest 1 for WGT to work on is the ability to delete posts. Our forums are cluttered up with old stuff, and i am unable to delete any of it, after the reins where handed to me.

Same here. It seems that this a bug in the system as some owners I've spoken with can delete posts and others can't.

In my club I restrict the club forum posting to the owner......it is only used for tournament related posts by myself. If member have something to say to another member they can message them personally. Or if they want to set up a tournament on the WGT format....there's a place for that also.

I have no problems with that at all......I have complete control of the club forum. If a member want to comment on a post that I have put up that's encouraged.....but a bunch of posting by everyone is only confusing and unneccessary.

    and unneccessary.

On the contrary, we encourage our members to come to the forums and interact in any frivolity they care for.

We have a Nut House which contains jokes etc

We have a TIPS thread which all provide advice & help

Early on I created stickies for these kinds of threads and they are nicely contained.

Music, Sports,  Introduce  Yourself.. basics that our sub community are confident in.

Any tournaments get stickied and renamed to place them at the top of the page. Most prizes for Tourney need to be claimed in the forum, we have events that require forum participation.

We have approx 50% forum interaction from our members and i  wouldn't  want it any other way.

Quite. If you're serious about building a community rather than just a place people play tournaments you need an active forum where everyone feels happy posting.

One of the reason I left my first CC was that the forum was almost totally unused and anything posted in there just got ignored.

    How about:

    • The option to 'hide leaderboard' in club tourneys (trivial mod)
    • Tier, level, membership duration and earnings based tourney entry options
    • Single play CTTH option (trivial mod)

    less essential... more advanced.

    • Standard CC vs CC interclub format with club rankings (complicated mod)
    • Integrated matchplay options (brackets: single play, double elim etc... complicated mod)
    • intraclub league match play with multiplay round robin scheduling ala MLB or NBA style scheduling and standings (very complicated... I'm looking for a 3rd party app to do this, may develop one)
    • Access to member data and features similar to wgt.com monthly rr played, earnings etc  (trivial mod... see our club website)

Currently, our club is developing some unique statistical features... length of time with the club, putting stats, scoring stats, CDPs etc.  I plan to offer premium prizes for long time members as a loyalty bonus.

We dont need to post on the forums here at the UNCC, as we have our own website for that. The problem is, our Forums are full of old posts that do not have anything to do with the club anymore. There is information in there that does not count anymore, and this could be confusing to new members who will automatically go to the Club forums here on WGT.

I think we need to keep this post going.....

We really need Champ Speed Greens in CC's.

How about a Multi-Game with Ctth's and Stoke play games in the one Comp. Not sure how we can total up the final score... but maybe just add up the rounds for the final score...eg 66(stroke) + 75.6(ctth) = 141.6

and something out of left field......

If clubs have their own H'cap system for players... The owners can add this H'cap to everybody on their CC list.  When a player enters a H'cap Comp we set up, then the H'caps are auto calculated to the final score.

    Agree Courteney,

NOT how I would run a CC
