reverting to starter balls

  why does wgt revert to starter balls when you have lost all the balls of a particular type when i should be able to choose which new ball to use when i have different ones in my inventory. this has cost me dear as this occurred when i happened to lose 3 balls in one hole at he beginning of a tourney and had to play the remaining holes with the marbles wgt give out as starters. i spends my credits so i should have the option to choose. can u please get this sorted so that we can choose within game play wgt

  I whole heartedly agree. I just posted something on this exact issue yesterday and got no love.

  Awww, you got love from WGT!

  I understand your sentiment in that thread, but there is a specific golf rule that we abide by that would prevent you from switching your ball in that situation (Google: Golf One Ball Rule for clarification). We hear you, but we will not be changing our stance on that rule any time soon :)

  I know. In real golf the player would have to WD a Tourney. I wish WGT did that here. Wouldn't take long for the members to start thinking about buying more GB's when the warning comes up instead of proceeding with the last ball, losing it and then complaining about it.

  LOL yep, I can imagine it.....  the complaint that WGT should at least let us finish with the starter ball.  ;-)

  I'm so glad this year old thread has been given new life. This forum needs more 'one ball rule' threads.

  Five a week just doesn't satisfy my desire to face death by tedium.
