    LeGeNdCrUsHeR:

(Ironically), everytime someone or another club does something good on this site, people lash out with the "cheat", "sandbagger", or "multi-accounter" slander to make some sort of drama.

If you feel someone is cheating or has multiple accounts, contact WGT with that information so they can investigate further.

    Ignorance is bliss!

I suggest you tread lightly here mate.

Ignorance really is bliss. Glad your familiar with the saying.

I have NO IDEA when the new-to-come Community Manager, announced by MrWgt,  will eventually show up.

I understand that they have at least 3 community managers now is that correct or not?

It's all good, I wasn't insinuating you were bagging, just bringing to light that if a player is capable of consistently winning against higher tiers, the player should be bumped up a level.

Also, please note (as I mentioned in this thread as well) I have always felt that non-credits games should NOT be counted towards advancement.

    We'll play soon!

    I agree with this too.

Challenge matches for credits is a big Yes for advancement. This will stop people staying down in the lower Tiers and cleaning everybody up.......  non credit matches is for fun and pride and should not be counted towards advancement.

It's been 5 months since WGT made the no-thought changes to the tier advancement system.  Why have they not done anything to make it better???  Many real and legitimate players (not sandbaggers!!) have complained that they didn't deserve to be bumped up, but still WGT have done nothing.  Pizza - why have you not read this and gone back to WGT to tell them what we, the players, think of a CURRENT FEATURE!!!   I posted a far better solution probably 18 months ago now where only credit-paying games affected ones average and therefore tier advancement, as have many other members, but it looks like WGT prefer to pay someone who has not a clue about anything to come up with brainless ideas and implement them haphazardly without thinking about the consequences.

Well, at least after 4 years at Tour Pro, Laker2323 finally got moved up to Legend.

Actually just under 3 months. But I fully agree with the rest of your post.

Whether 3 or 5 months doesn't matter.  It still too long as the amount of 'collateral damages' keeps getting higher and higher by the day.   Those damages include innocent, non-sandbagging, players getting promoted to new tiers before they have enough XPs to purchase equipment necessary to play from longer tees.  You've also stolen some of the "fun" attained by players when they used to have to climb the mountain, so to speak, to get to Legend.  You've also made it more difficult for current Legends to get opponents in regular Match Play competition vs TMs and Masters.

Hardly a minimal impact to our community as promised below in October.

    WGTPIZZA:
This new feature, like all others, will be under heavy monitoring and scrutiny until WGT feels it is accomplishing the goal of deterring sandbagging at a minimal impact to our community. We will be updating the FAQ to reflect these changes in the near future.
