I went to start a join a game of stroke play. He was tour master just like me. About same average. It was on St. George. Can't remember exact hole. I think it was #5, but was par 5. Second shot of mine I almost made double eagle by 8 inches. He goes "damn" in chat. I say "that was sweet". So I waited about a minute and then said "that was almost a double eagle". Guess what he does? He quits. LOL! I finished the game anyways with out him.

Why not just finish the game? I seen quite a few quit stroke play with other players playing.

A person just did that on a match with me and somebody else.  He had a bad hole, called the rest of us names.

Sadly there are a lot of bad sports out there and quit after a bad shot. I seldom play a multi player stroke round for this reason unless with friends.

And JH, calling players out in forums is against the rules, so I would suggest you remove the name. Edit - I see thi is your first post - you should familarize yourself with the posting guidlines (but as this post should have been moderated I am suprised it slipped through).

I don't care if he actually left in my favor of finishing the game. Its the fact that he looks like a fool for doing it. I would not just leave, because the other person or persons are making better shots. I lost a lot of stroke play games with other 3 players, and just won't quit the game. Also, made me feel like he was calling me a cheat, without saying it.

People get disconnected sometimes, or should I say a lot. Maybe he didn't quit.

Stroke Play multiplayer is not 5 minutes, its 2 and half minutes. I was not talking about any other game play. I did not even mention anything about the persons screen name to get a comment from staff. I did not say he even broke a rule. I was just getting opinions on why he did what he did. I like how a thread gets all twisted and turned around in just about 5 replies.

I am going to forget I even mentioned anything.

I just got it handed to me by a TM and Pro. I did't quit, good for them. I lost, was still a good game.
