    Hi folks,

Not sure if this is the correct place for my question but here goes..

I'm looking for a good (pref free is poss) game recording program/software..

I have been using Cam studio and it records great without any meter glitches but most times the playback is kinda bad..I downloaded VLC player because it wouldn't play back at all through Windows media player but the playback is still inconsistent..

Sometimes it plays it back perfectly and other times not..

    Any suggestions/idea's

    Cheers

    Liz

I have been using this program. Have some videos posted on my profile page. You have to be careful on the recording part you can only go 10 minutes at a time so you have to stop it then start it over and then put both pieces together by using a movie making program.

    Bandicam

Here's the one I use. Note that the default FPS is 10, which is pretty jerky. You can up it under the AVI tab. Balance file size to quality based on need/purpose.

    Hypercam2

With Bandicam, and windows live movie maker, you can come up with something like this. Bandicam is a free download, and you should have some type of movie maker that comes with your PC.

AVI FILE tab as below. See where I changed it to 20?

20 is pretty smooth, but gets you a larger file to mess with. I don't think I'd go below 16.

does Bandicam have to be used in conjunction with MovieMaker ? if so, could u explain the process ?

or is it a question of using one or the other ?

.. my 1st guess would be that BandiCam records & with MovieMaker u edit & insert captions into the recorded round ?
