Can I have a few opinions on what's most important when buying an irons set, precision or forgiveness, I've always gone for those with more forgiveness as i was never very good at  pinging the meter but is it swings and round-a-bouts?

If  i bought those with more precision would  i then not need to rely on the forgiveness? I use Level 32 R11's  I am  liking the look of the  Level 68 Taylor made RBZ's, they give me one dot more precision with only a half dot less forgiveness and my game has recently improved a lot so i might get away with half a dot.

Also they'll give me a little bit more choice in distance, I understand a lot of your game is just down to how you play, whether you're deadly serious or it's just to pass the time as it is for me, and also the fact i'm not a game player so i'm distinctly average at this game but it's my past-time, do you think I'd perhaps not gain enough to warrant the cost?

I am also going  to buy the L80 Max putter and L81 G20 driver when I get to those levels from my lowly Level 76  and 67.44 average. I currently have the L66 ghost putter and L 29 R11 driver

If you're going to buy the driver you may as well get the set...if your goal is just to 'pass the time', then they will last you the rest of your time here. The RoBz are not the best irons from a traj point of view, the L59 Gs are better even.

Yes  at one point I had decided on the L59 Gs and i do like a high trajectory,  i  may  well drop low enough  to get to master at some point so i was going to get the level 81 driver to cope with the extra distance from the pin so if  i do that at level 81 i may as well wait until level 83 and get the level 83 G20 irons for a little more distance precision and forgiveness.

Appreciate your advice once again thanks,

    Andy.

Yep, stay completely away from any irons that are medium trajectory.. I happily use the lvl 69 rocketballz driver and 3 wd at legend level, and dont have many problems against the r11s players ( not to say I wont be buying those woods as soon as level permits), its the stopping power of you're irons which counts most towards general low scoring.

G20s are great (both 59 and 83 versions), if you give them time and learn how to roll out on the longer shots, but I would highly recommend the new rocketbladez at 79 (I used to use the equivalent burners, bit faster meter) for the spin on the long approach shots.

You need to use at least the lvl 33 callaways too to get the best out of the top clubs...

Thanks Ring,  that makes a lot of sense, i do use the L33 callaways, I have just  managed to get to Master level  so  now  i just need to get up to the 80+ levels to get my clubs! Thanks for all your advice
