It would be cool to test out rental clubs before you buy them or just to practice in general...

I agree. Not just a driving range but a sand trap area, chipping and pitching area.

It's weird because this is probably about the 97,000th time that someone has "thought of" this idea, and I wanted to be snarky, but then it occurred to me..............it actually should not be that difficult to produce this, and given how many times it's been suggested, I'd imagine it would get plenty of use.

Even if it wasn't easy to produce, or even if there is currently a way to practice, this has to be the #1 suggestion from the community. Thank you for keeping the suggestion visible, I'll make sure WGT knows the community is still requesting this after all these years.

What I really really would like to see or have the ability to do, in a practice round or driving range, whatever method, is the ability to hit different shots from the same location with the same wind, to see the results of the different clubs.

This would hold true for out of the sand, out of rough, out of weeds, etc as well as be able to practice putting & chipping on and around the green.

Now I know you say you can use the practice rounds, but it is not the same.

So, what I am really asking for is "mulligans" on the practice rounds. I do not see where this should be difficult.

    Thanks

Also been asked thousands of times, but would FAR outweigh a driving range. A driving range is great for getting your swing right or trying to perfect the swing in real life - on here would have very little benefit. Mulligan (in practice mode only) options would have a huge benefit for all lies and using all shot types - and would probably boost ball sales.

I agree that this should not be too difficult - surely an easy snippet of coding would suffice (but i am no programmer)?

Even better than the driving range would be the putting green that allowed players to warm up on the particular green speed they are going to play.

Benefit on here would be what a half swing, one third swing, two thirds swing, etc. would result in yards for each club. Very handy in my opinion. Once you know those numbers you can be more accurate with your partial swings.
