    Back when I was a kid lyra...Coke is what we drank:)

     

    Although, rumor is the original formula (1800]s???) had the "stuff" in it, dunno:)

    Don't know about wanting to teach the world to sing, just want to teach my brain/fingers to hit ding more often  :)

    Heh, they used to. Originally, it was an ingredient in Coca Cola along with caffeine. Talk about speeding.  LOL

    Our great grandparents knew how to party down back in the 'Gay Nineties', eh, Jim?

    It was sort of the '5 Minute Energy' drink of it's day - particularly recommended for weariness and depression.

    One of the earliest adverts I can remember ( '4 mash get smash' and the PG tips chimp ads too)...One of the most recognizable and still makes me want a Coke....in fact I'm off to get one :)

    I used to love one of the Christmas commercials with coca-cola and santa and pretending cars were reindeer. Dunno if anyone here remembers that
