  Mr pizza man, the recent update in the elite section got rid of the option for "credits" players to get the cards even after many, many people openly objected to that.  I am not a player that plays for credits but it seems to me that WGT was not listening to their community and it makes me wonder what the motivating force for that move was?  I can see that it will probably result in lots of players looking elsewhere for their entertainment other than to WGT, doesn't that have any impact on the decision making process for such a move?  Was this designed to get rid of "Professional" gamers or what?

  To openly say that the Elite section of the "Pro Shop" is destined for failure would be an understatement based on what I see.

  The Maserati has been removed from the Elite Collection. There are many more items in the Pro Shop to purchase - have a look :)

  Nope, not at all. Just making a line of clubs that have been requested by the community for years.

  ^^^, That's what so baffling, surely Icon as a proper player and Pizza coming through the ranks would have recognized the backlash about to ensue BUT it seems not....

  Don't be confused - Icon and myself have LITTLE TO NO influence over the business decisions WGT makes.

  And yet you're sent out to defend them. Perhaps you could ask the marketing department or Chad if they could explain the rationale behind their new strategy.

  The main question is why were the cards removed and do you think the top players want to grind out for rg's for a stupid avatar? I mean was your strategy to lower the playing time of the top names cause i know of over 10 i spoke to earlier that said they have no need to play anymore.

  I am at a loss for words.....there were pages of top player(the ones who have been here through the thick and thin of it) that requested to keep the gift cards.

  You basically have said no to them and it all fell upon deaf ears.

  I am sure we will see long time WGTers disappear as a result of this. I will have to say that this update to the elite collection may have been one of the biggest WGT blunders to date.

  Not good!!!!!
