Think I am speaking for a majority of the top players here. The competition aspect of the game has been stripped away.If credits arent worth anything, what's the point in even competing for them anymore? The level of interest has definitely diminished. :(

Looks like WGTPizza is only looking for what he wants to answer, and not what should be answered. So for anyone that can't stand the fact it was a stupid thing in first place will be ignored by WGTPizza. So what is the point of even saying anything, when you won't get anything from the posting anyways. Looks like they are expecting us to fall for it instead.

Ask me anything and I will give you an answer.

I have no idea how you came to this conclusion, this entire thread has proven this statement.

Very good point, mrenn29, conveyed with respect and poise. Thank you for the feedback, WGT will hear it.

    WGTpizza:

Here you are, misquoting me AGAIN, Alcaucin.

Please edit your post, or it will be moderated.

I know what you are referring to Pizza in each case..(without the search facilities it / they are difficult to find) I think I paraphrased pretty well.  Not got the inclination or the time to take out of what I'm here to do (play golf). If you will direct me to both threads I will edit if in the wrong..

Once again Pizza as others have said don't take all remarks as a rebuke towards yourself..you all we got to rail at :))

    Andy

I don't play for credits. I play for fun. This is just a foolish thing done for players like me. I am not no elite player, and I do not plan on trying to burn myself out to be one. If WGT wants to turn this whole site into a gambling site only, then I will be one of the first to leave.

    Dear marketing department

    basic business

    keep your customers happy,

    keep your customers returning,

give them a VALUE for their money

there are 16 pages of mostly negative comments

now if this was done to yank most players chains

    WELL DONE

if it was done to go out of business

    EVEN BETTER DONE

1 GISD ball with cute little bells and whistles (booooo)

a weekend of free rentals (that was great)

1,000 bucks to speak to Chad (why?)

wanna make people happy? lower the prices on the dumb pixel balls

i have accrued most of the high tech equipment

i like playing with those crazy EXPENSIVE black balls

i pay REAL MONEY to buy those things on this site

no one is forcing me to do it, it is my choice

i (imo) think most people that have played here

for as long or longer than i have have bought enough

balls to keep the entire staff in BMWs

fix meter, where is our new course

    (i remember this 'new' ctth)

lower the prices on pixels called balls

(its like, how much is the guy who designed the pixel balls getting)

i figure the only have to be 'programmed' once.

so the cost of that should of been re-couped .

if you make 1 customer happy 3 people will hear about it

if you anger same customer you will have 16 pages of complaints

with inflation thats my 50 cents

    so silly

    WGTpizza:
Feel free to ask additional questions, or point out ones I missed, and I'll do my best to answer them.

Here's one. I like you (99% of the time) and I especially like the fact that although you are a WGT employee, you said you have your own opinions and you're not afraid to share them. Now for my question: "What's your personal opinion about charging 5 grand for a customized virtual dude or dudette who hits a virtual golf ball around"?

And a follow up question, can customized avatars be naked and extremelly well endowed? I just wanna look as close to reality as possible ;-)

Edit: Sorry, just seen you answered you don't have a personal opinion on this subject (price of avatar) on page 15.

Feedback and sales, jeez you guys have some work to do

    WGTpizza:

    jaderoks:

Question for WGTPizza: Do you think 500,000 credits for a personalized avatar is a fair price? If you can't answer that, Do you at least know why players here feel they have been dealt a slap in the face.

I will answer this, and any other question about the pricing of products on WGT:

WGT has a marketing department that decides the cost of items in the pro shop. Based on feedback and sales, they adjust those prices.

I don't have any personal opinions on whether or not items are "faily" priced, but I will tell you that I recognize a lot of players are unhappy with the prices of the items released in this update. That message will be conveyed to WGT.

Is this a Harvard Business School study in progress on how much a company can piss off its customers before they stop coming back?
No-one will come back - they simply run away.

    My tuppence.

(without the search facilities it / they are difficult to find)

Maybe you are actually not sure about what you have misquoted,

You quoted me saying "Oh I'll read all the thread then" and then you questioned "...but it is what you are paid to do, is it not?"

When I actually said: "Oh ok, I'll just go through and answer them all."

As I stated previously, I read the entire thread before I posted. I was asking for questions about the subject, as I did not see many of them, and they were buried a few pages back.

    alcaucin:
Once again Pizza as others have said don't take all remarks as a rebuke towards yourself

Andy - you specifically called me out by name and questioned what I was being paid to do. Tell me how else I am suppose to take that remark?

This thread will only contain information about the recent changes to the store. Andy, if you wish to respond to this, message me directly.

Any further comments on anything other than the topic of this thread will be removed immediately.
