Funny how some elitists think they should only be the one's ranting here!

I couldn't give a monkey's todge what the Elite collection costs, but what I do find frustrating is not only is the pricing laughable, this laughable update comes as a higher priority to existing bug fixes and do-able small feature requests etc...

I also find it strange that a planned update is supported by someone on the WGT team who doesnt know much more than us about the update.  If I were to implement changes affecting a large user base, I would expect to be primed, or prime others on the updates so that questions can be answered, not by support staff's opinions, but by hard facts that the developers/marketing team had issued!

So anyone has every right to question the updates as everyone has different reasons for posting.......

    peace!

Here's my take on the Jest of it my fellow community..Anything posted here is likely to generate nothing more than pages of ranting, myself included, that accomplish and solve nothing. You see as mentioned the powers at WGT did accomplished what their goal was, to rid themselves of what capital outlay there was for the prizes they were offering and turn them into in house potential cash cows for virtual items.

They did this knowing full well there would be rage within the community and that would last awhile then everything would settle down as before with just the same nominal complaints about VEM, Fixing bugs etc. and members would still go on all the while spending the time amassing credits doing surveys, signing up for and buying things from advertisers for credits or their money for credits to to buy things as they rake in the cash for those items.

They also knew there would be fallout and a few members would leave or cut back their spending but the numbers of those wouldn't out weigh the ones that would stay or the cash cow of new members arriving and new generation of funds as they try to move up the ranks and spend their cash on the same things we have/are doing to tier up. That is what the are really counting on as has been mentioned.

Now the question for the membership to decide is how much they care to continue to devote monthly on this game and where else there is to devote those $$$$ if not. Is there something or somewhere else that could give us the same pleasure that could use a few Dollars to get itself off the ground. As mentioned in these forum, yes there is. I for one will continue to play but will be spending less here and more somewhere else in hopes the near future could bring something better. There is an opportunity for those that want to take the chance in hopes they can and will be treated better elsewhere and still devote whatever time and $$$ they chose to devote here. This is a business and as such they will rightfully protect their profit no matter what we think. At this juncture, we as consumers on the other hand need to decide where and how much we want to devote to this business for our pleasure.

WGT will continue to do whatever the hell they want, create rage against their machine, take the hit and move on. They will continue to screw with the game and or peoples games with their tweaking, shrug off any grumblings within the membership, welcome new members and continue to rake in the cash without blinking an eye.

In the meantime their Mods will take the heat, try to calm and pacify the masses until like always this too dies down and all goes back to the normal grumblings.

I have said my peace in this thread, slept on it and now know my plan to continue play here and help develop elsewhere.

So how much have u pledged to Parallel ^^

Just by way of interest , we have a well known scam here in Thailand where a property developer buys some land, and makes some grand schemes for condos, gets people to pay up front based on pretty brochures and computer designed  pictures for a condominium that will never get built.

I wish u well in ur investment, but I ain't chucking money at a project that is 18 months away from announcement.

You must have lost ur marbles.

Chucking money in some beta project that after years of poor development still is a buggy and poor performing beta project is wise you say ?

LMAO... Did I mention anywhere in my post that company you just mentioned?

Don't know about your condo scams..I've seen a few in my day. I am a much wiser investor than that and am retired off of my investments so before you go spouting your usual BS know for a fact of which you speak and if I am devoting my $$$ it is none of your damn business as to how much.

So you really aren't from SWEDEN as you pretend how much more of you is fake. I remember when you first came on the scene and your fake gender flap you stirred up back then.

So go take your marbles back to your little sandbox, oh fake one. At least I don't pretend to be from somewhere else and something I am not.

What a thread --- sure makes for great reading .   Brings back memories of the great Faterson / Tibbets debates.    I sure am glad I can pull up the forums on my notepad when I'm in the Loo  (yeah that's right .. in some parts of the world it's named after me - go figure).

For those of you without enough time to read all of this I've tried to net down the 40 pages into 4 simple subjects

    1. New CTTH / New clubs = not very exciting at all
    2. Too many comments by people who would never accumulate enough credits to get the old gift cards let alone the new items = Just a lot of noise as the new personalized avatars, etc. are ridiculously priced and no one will buy them anyway.  Not sure who would need them - they don't effect the play of the game.
    3. Several of the top notch players will not play as much since they were really trying to get the gift cards = This is bad -  I think we need premier players - gives folks something to strive for
    4. Chrisironbones is going to quit = This could be good or bad, all depends.

Depending on your views of Chris #4 alone could be worth the price of the update !!!!!     :)

    Just my opinion --
