I just got a message from the game-client screen that stated all players from Illinois are now eligible to participate in Ready-Go's and all games for credits.

I would still like to see Pizza or Icon confirm this if they would.

I think some things have changed...from the faqs it now says:

Skill Gaming: Ready-Go Tournaments, Match Play Challenges, Skins Challenges and Blitz Challenges fall under Skill Gaming, which certain US states prohibit.

The U.S. states that do not allow skill-based gaming are: Montana, Tennessee, and Vermont

There used to be 5 or 6 states?...maybe more listed.

The FAQ is correct as stated here, and yes, there were many more states on that list before the recent update

Thank you Mr. Pizza for confirming this. Its been almost four long years, and now my fellow Illinoisans and I can finally play Ready-Go's.

Thanks Mike for the input. I know there was about 10 states on the Ready-Go restricted list in the past.

More like 15 from my memory. It's great more people are able to play now.

Perhaps the next step could be opening the monthly premiums to more than 8 countries?

Ah, this is starting to make sense to me. No more gift cards... so more people can play in other states because the lawyers can fight over the legalese. Seeing that there are no (WGT-sanctioned) ways to cash credits out, players in more states are likely eligible for Ready-Go tourneys under the applicable laws.

Still a very bad idea to remove those gift cards in my opinion, but this is the kind of thing that happens when... never mind.

Pizza, I sent you a friend request because I have a bit more to say about this but would prefer to not do so in a public forum. Let me know if you are in the actual WGT offices--I'll buy you lunch. Seriously, just tell me how many credits. :)

Thanks everyone. I have to admit, this game was starting to get stale and quite repetitious with nothing to show for all the game-play.
