    Hi all,

I have only used various WGT balls as they are less expensive.  I like the results they give but was thinking of trying some premium balls while still trying to be cost effective.

So, what are your favorite premium (non WGT) balls in terms of bang for the buck (cost:performance ratio).

    Thanks for your replies!

I think the 'callaway is' ball is best bang for buck. Gives good extra distance and the added spin helps keep that ball on the green especially on Bethpage and Olympic.

Although I do use the Level 71 Nikes...but when my credits start to dwindle I will go back to the callaway's.

The Srixon is a good ball. It's a good place to start.

I also agree very good value, you get a bit of everything giving you a decent amount of control with good durability.

I like the Slow swing meter Callys but since the recent earning credit nerf and the inability to win Ready-Go credits means these are expensive these days.

I play WGT. From the premium balls, I prefer Callies to Nikes because their meter isn't so boringly slow.

To see what you like I'd propose to buy one sleeve each, starting on top of the list (cheaper balls first). Check them out, change between them and look what's best for you!

Srixon is a good ball to start with.

I use the Max ball, to slow down the fast meter of the R11's (my brain is getting too old for the warp speed of the Irons now....lol)  and are very good , but very expensive though.
