    Graphics: 10 / 10

Game play / Realism: 10 / 10 (when meter stable)      0/10 (with meter stutter)

    Meter design: 0 / 10

    Server maintenance, upgrades:  0/10

    Support: 0/10

I run 3.3 g quad, 16 g ram custom built by me. Started playing WGT on XP, everything was great for 2 weeks, then meter started going stupid. All suggestions did not help. Tried everything, I used this xp install mainly just for WGT, 3rd week in my system catches some sort of unfixable virus, I suspect 1 of the surveys or ads from WGT..So had to abandon the Xp install. Went to fresh install of win 7, everything was a little better for 2 days then right back to herky jerky meter, every 2 or 3 swings, now it is almost constantly unstable. Only time I ever have a chance to ding meter is 5 - 8 am weekdays, any other time is a waste of time. If this was system dependent, someone would have come up with a valid cure that works by now. Come on WGT, use your money to improve your game, & don't just make changes that just make the game more difficult. These recent changes have done nothing to the crazy low scores, it just reduces completed rounds by us normal folks. I hit the restart button more than anything else right now, really frustrating.

Well to your answer i say no way I've tried everything you've said and still have meter issues. I play a lot of alt.games and everyone I've talked to says the same thing their meter jumps or stops and starts. Doesn't happen all the time but it happens more than it doesn't. What makes me mad is losing balls that i pay 600 credits for because of this meter.I lost two the other day brand new balls. You blame our computers but I find that hard to believe if most golfers are having the same issues. You went down for repair last August and it got worse and I'm not the only one who thinks that something you guys did screwed it up more. I play on here to have fun, do surveys which there aren't very many anymore. But find I'm being told it's my computers problem. Why isn't ever on your side that problem exists.

I think that was the 'infamous' flash update that coincided with update......you'll have to look through old posts for solution but there is one, (how you've played for so long with it THAT bad is beyond me) or maybe someone will give you a heads up on which flash version to use..

    Andy

Edit, Im on 502.135 which is going good on chrome.

Mister Pizza, how do we get in touch with that staff for a one on one converstaion about what to do.  here is my situation with the meter

playing a round by myself and the meter is virtually flawless 99% of the time

Playing wint one friend and the meter is virtually flawless 80% of the time

Playing with 3 or 4 players in a stroke play, alt shot, whatever, and the meter stutters badly on the putter and is eratic on the woods and irons.

My cache is cleard daily, as is flash cache, my system is optimal based on the FAQ's, yet in multiple player games this is what I experience as do some of the member I often play with .

one other thing I have noticed.  I have a gadget that shows cpu usage and can watch it as I play,  When I get ready to hit the ball and move the swing meter to the desired power, the CPU meter will go to nearly max for a few seconds and will then drop back down to around 35% or something like that, and I have found that if you just set the desired power then release, the meter is much more apt to give unfriendly results (stuttering, stopping etc.) so now it is a rule of humb for me to set the desired power then hold it there for around 5 seconds before releasing and triggering the shot.

It doesn't matter how many bells and whistles your system has, you need to keep things minimal, stop using IE or Chrome, and keep things cleaned out as often as pos.

My desktop is a compaq basic of basics, bag of sh!t tower, It's around 5 years old now and it certainly isn't built for gaming.

My processor is a paltry dual CPU E2140 @1.6 GHz

It uses a week inbuilt graphics chipset.

It has only 2GB of RAM.

And I have no problems playing this game 90% of the time....and when I do start to get stutter, I close the game screen, google "clear flash cache" and delete the lot, then clear out the browser cache....I use rockmelt but maxthon is also very good......and resume the game, and the meter is silky smooth again.

I even play it on my 14" laptop that is even weaker than my desktop with no problems other than my screen is too small.

I can play in fullscreen mode ( 19" ) and even play while searching forums or watching videos, and using bandicam (that does slow things down a touch, but playable).

Some of it is down to WGT.....but most of it is down to something you're doing wrong at your end.
