I was curious and looked at the players atop of some of these leader boards and noticed most had mid 50's averages as tour legends with an unbelievable greens hit and fairways hit averages...most in the mid 90's...lol very laughable escpecially with all of the inconsistencies and meter problems associated with this game.

How is it possible to hit almost every fairway and green in all the ready go's. Are they playing the same conditions as me.  Not hating...just trying to figure out how it is possible.

I guess they ALWAYS choose the best club with the exact spin required...and can foresee how wgt will effect the shot at that moment...lol.

I think many of the top players don't complete a round unless they are gong to profit...they're no hurting for credits..so they bail out..so those few missed fairways and green are not counted in their stats from the incomplete round.

It's not that hard once you get used to timing and knowing how to read the wind.

I'm just a basic Legend and these are a few of my stats.

    Green in Regulation   84.50%
Avg. Distance to Pin 14 Ft.

     Longest Drive 366 Yd.

    Avg. Driving Distance 278 Yd.

    Driving Accuracy 89.50%

    One Putt   50.43%

    Two Putt

     47.10%

The top guys beat this by miles.

A factor which may a play a role is so-called inflation due to the introduction of more accurate equipment. Basically, the greater proportion of your rounds made using the latest equipment, the better your approach stats are likely to be. I believe this is why some of the newer greats have slightly better approach stats than their more experienced competitors.

Mohuyu is exactly right. My putting average is 151 but since turning legend it is 131. It takes a long time at higher levels to make the stats change. The longer you play with the better equipment, the better the stats will become.

Hey there.  Try watching the Youtube videos of some of the top WGT players, such as PRIESTESS and Minkywinkster.  They should help.  You can find them on their WGT profile pages.  Cheers!

OP - you have hit some very nice scores in your history. yes others are right here too - lots WD when they (and myself) cannot finish a round for various reasons.  good rounds never happens ALL the time, it happens SOME of the time, wish there were stats showing the % of WDs for us lol. personally i just try to keep afloat creditwise and get wgt to pay for my games lol. other than that its the fun factor in alt shots that keeps me comin back.

Lol, I think you guys are missing my point...I am not a begginer here at wgt, and I don't need to watch videos to learn how to play, that is too funny.  I'm just saying a 94% green in regulation is really high..especially how long it takes to change those averages, from when you start playing this game.  Unless you always have hit 90% of greens...which is unbelivable..but anyway, happy hitting.
