I used that r11 3 wd for a while, not the lowest level or the highest, can't remember exactly, but it had 227 distance I think and it was very disappointing IMHO.

The raptures, wood and irons are very very good clubs, will take you a long way, maybe worth looking at. The 3 wd especially.

I was gifted the K15 driver a long time ago which was very good, but not beyond Master level, it was useless in a wind against as it had a high trajectory.

yes gd, you really like this game and enjoy much, like me and many others. your suggestion about G20 sort of clubs is my choice (also), when i will have enough credits. till then, we can improve our equipment with middle range of clubs and get more pleasure and fun for lower price. yes, this is slower way, after months we will comex to spot where you are now. i will use that time to make better my playing strategy and techniques and to discover all what i can do. many people just havent money to buy credits (kids, students, unemployed people etc. - i saw many posts about that, not just at wgt forum). i'm just trying to help these people to find needed infos when they decide to buy some of middle range clubs. thanx for sharing your experience, good will and excitement (always glad to see some1 who like this game like me, and maybe more). good luck in your wgt life and fun.

my 60th day here, on wgt planet,  just ended.

after 2 months of consecutive (everyday) playing, here is short summary of my wgt life (this can be useful (maybe) to some1 of you, to compare):

    * 26.11. my start at wgt and 1 week after  i was advanced to PRO tier

** 4 days later i am L40 and i purchased the WGT Tour Starter Putter(L7+), 120 crs (i still using it)

*** 4 weeks - at Xmas day,  one good man gave me new driver, R11s (L42+)

**** 1 week later - wgt advanced me to TOUR PRO tier (when i was L57 Pro)

    ***** and 1 week after - i purchased the PING Tour W 64° Wedge (L42+), 200 crs

as you can see, i have 3 new clubs and all others are starter clubs

..... my plan in future is to improve 3WD club with 2010 Rapture V2 3 FW (L47+)  /385 crs/ dist. 230y or with  Rocketballz 3 Fairway Wood (L69+), 595 credits, distance= 240y. after that i will buy another wedge club- PING Tour W 58 Wedge (L42+) 200 crs (edit: i will buy PING Tour W 52 Wedge (L41+) same price, cause i have that W 58 now, gift). then i will go to 'master' tier and think about Irons and new putter. for new 3WD i need to wait 3 weeks (or 8 -maybe too long) and for new wedge 6 weeks more, of watching videos. that is plan for long run.

.... i am still Tour Pro, L69, AV 70.84, over 136.000 XPpoints and 263.06 credits

i want to save my AV points and i dont want to be 'master' before i can improve 3WD and wedge c. (... i must loose few matches against an low experienced 'masters' (their really tier are 'early Pro', imho) and h... dont know what to say about that pleasure!?-I

ah, that is nice surprise. i see new wedge club in my bag - PING Tour W 58 Wedge (L42+), and read that topic with uncommon subject line ' Kay..d other post is for...'. nice gesture Andy. thank you very much - not only for gift, and for very positive moves to other players, also. i think i am much closer to 'master' tier now.

i was play a match play against an Pro L70+, few days ago . very good player, good shots, nice talking. i saw - he uses only starter clubs (every1) and play almost like me. i think 'he must have few hundreds of credits. why he dont have any new club?'. imho, people afraid to buy new club, at first weeks,  when they learn about game and how to earn credits. after few weeks, they have 300-350 credits and just 1 better club will move player to discover much more in the game, even if it is cheap club.  so, i decide to make my upper post.

The country club I belong to only seems to setup tournaments that makes it hard for me to compete, with the clubs I have. I only have 295 credits and use most of that just to buy balls leaving me short to buy clubs. I hate asking for help but if anyone can, I'd appreciate some better clubs. Thanks

not wrong when some1 asks for help, oldvermonter. you have good clubs for short shots and good putter, and you need to improve your clubs for long shots. for more distance at 1st or 2nd shot you can buy Pro driver (250 credits, dist. 220y) or to buy some of 3WD's (for example: K15 or 2010 Rapture with slow meter and good distance - you almost have enough credits). long shots will bring you closer to the green - and 'birdies' and 'eagles' will come easier to your scorecard. and practice, every day, you will see the difference. or u can wait for that expensive high range clubs with price over 1000 or 1500c.

anyway, good luck, and lot of enjoyment with your new clubs.
