The blurb says you get 3 drivers for the price of one. it doesnt say you can only equip one of the lofts per space in your bag meaning you would have to dump two other clubs to benefit from the 3 in 1 function. maybe im just stupid or maybe wgt should make that clear before anyone buys this thing

Only thing covert is wgt hiding this fact from purchasers since i guess in real life you would take the one club and fiddle with something on the head to change the loft according to the shot you want to take as opposed to having 3 seprate drivers, or am i wrong?

class act of mis representation wgt. keep your three in one con

That is significant. Can you use any of the lofts as a fairway wood? If so what distance?

Think I might have to rent this...

According to the USGA rules, the lie of the club cannot be adjusted during the round:

    "Rule 4-2a provides that:

During a stipulated round, the playing characteristics of a club must not be purposely changed by adjustment or by any other means.

The purpose of this Rule is to prevent the player from purposely modifying his club during the round, such as modifying a club’s lie or loft, adjusting weight or changing the head and/or shaft, regardless of whether the club has been designed to be adjustable."

In other words, adjustable clubs are allowed, but they cannot be adjusted during the round.

Why would anyone want to carry 3 drivers?

thats wierd cos you`re not allowed to change the specs of a club once u tee off,  ie  smack putter into a tree and bend it a smidge , still usable but not allowed.

if u keep messing with loft on driver during round  arent u altering the specs ?

you`re supposed to set the driver up for the 18 or 9 holes and leave it at that  i think

ofcourse it wouldnt be first time i`ve been wrong :-)

I just tried the 270 12 an a half dgree loft as a wood Mr Fan and at 91% full bs from the fairway it wented 114 yards so i guess the answer is no. I needed 240 to the pin, it flew flat as a pancake.

If what Mr zag says is to be applied here, then i think wgt definitly need to make it clear on the blurb that only one head can be used as opposed to allowing people like me, who dont know squatt about real golf, to buy it thinking you get three heads in your bag with one club which can be changed at will during a round. a useful thing and something that a non suspecting buyer might be conned into laying out dinaro for.

Oh well, nothing new to see here, move along folks

The idea, as stated in the news thing, is that you pick one as your driver based on wind conditions. It doesn't function as or replace a 3W or hybrid.

I've had a swing and it looks great plus slower swing meter. That said I honestly don't have that much trouble driving in heavy wind even with a high trajectory club; it's just about where you aim.

I won't be buying it personally.

    Golden rule after updated equipment....

NEVER buy until.....some other unsuspecting mug has tried it first.....there's always something lately that makes it JUST not the club you thought.

Pitiful update as usual for the higher tiers, as you say 'nothing to see here'.

    lol :-)

Lookat me, unsuspecting mug. only rented her though, so not so bad and tonight, the head will at least match my nails cos im off a vampin.

actually theres probly nothing wrong with the club itself, just disappointing to find out about the no tamper rule AFTER renting it, so no real complaint cos it my own ingerance that got me to here, but bein on the slide out of wgt, laying down creds is no biggie, they got to go somewhere
