I could not let a used copy of EA T/W 2013 pass me by for only $15.00 at a local pawn shop. I think it has the most realism on the greens and does have the same setup as WGT.com I think that's why there is a lot of copies of it floating around. Since it's a little harder to play for the casual video gamer. But is much more fun and easier to use the kinect motion sensor with it.

Currently working on a real golf sensor for the Xbox kinect instead of just using my bare hands.

Real simple to do just cut a golf club in half and add weight to replace ( 15-16 oz) the head weight.

And the 2014 T/W game coming out even has real local weather implemented in it which would be nice here as well. My favorite tho is from 2009 which has no glitches or issues.

The 2003 / 2004 Version was awesome. EA sports has many years of experience over WGT hands down. Actually the main programmer is still employed at EA and Tim who is in charge of the community Forums and such is a great guy ! Ive known him over 12 years now.

I saw this while doing some searching.....this is copied from EA's Tiger web site...

"For the first time in gaming history, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 14 will feature all four Majors – The Masters, U.S Open, The Open Championship and PGA Championship. Go for golf’s Grand Slam and try to rewrite history as you try to take down some of the game’s greatest Legends!"

They go on to say they have exclusive licenses for all 4 majors. While i really dont care, i would be just as happy with Torrey Pines, Medinah or other courses like that, just wondering what this means.

It could mean the same thing that it did in 2010 when WGT held the first Virtual Open. Then EA Sports sent out an e-mail announcing they were hosting the virtual British Open which was just an attempt to steal some of WGt's thunder so to speak. It was nothing but a lie then and it may be so again.EA sports is always trying to pull quick ones to get customers away from rivals, Many of their tactics border on being illegal and are highly unethical. This could be the same sort of thing. I'm not saying it is so but they have tried it before.

Because at one of the first  online chats with Mister WGT he stated in that chat that WGT had long term contracts with both the U.S.G.A and R&A. True contract can be voided or broken but i have seen nothing that either association could deem worthy of voiding the contracts.

I have a relative who' works at Muirfield, so he said he'd let me know If he saw WGT impeding his beloved course.

If it isn't done yet it most likely won't be. They say it takes 6 months to  finish the  course after the photos are taken.
