Often get players that want to keep there fake "65.5" handicap that they got three years ago and are afraid to lose. They then quit at the first bad shot which really ruins the game. This happens all too often. Should make a penalty for quitting such as automatically adding two strokes or something to players handicap.

Friend up some more club members they will be less likely to 'quit'.

Keep in mind also that some 'quitters' simply lose their connections due to something going on in the real world.

Its pretty easy to see when its a connection issue or when a guy flubs a shot then abruptly quits. In addition for those out there that do quit at least have the decency to forfeit so we dont have to wait for 2 + minutes to start again.

Many people do quit after a bad shot or two but many others also quit because they find it difficult if not impossible to play with someone with a bad attitude. I'm not saying that you have a bad attitude but if people continually quit on you it might have something to do with it.

I have played with players where I absolutely had to force myself to finish the round. Their attitude and actions were so bad.

regarding the 'quit' hype---I was playing about the 13th hole of St. Andrews and something happened that made my screen go white.  don't know what happened, but is here a way to retrieve a game already started to the point where it was lost due something outside a person's control?  thanks.

In a Single: Yes, it should be saved automatically, and infinitely AFAIK. You have the choice to contine once you get back to the main game menu.

In a Multiplayer: Yes, as long as you manage to return within the 5 mins waiting time given AND your group has the patience to wait for you. Should be plenty to close down and restart the browser and return to WGT, it may be close when you have to restart your computer.
