Level 53 - Hack?

  I saw a person today who has no ranked rounds but almost a hole in one, as the only replay. No putts no drives no stats for anything (other than progressing to level 53).

  On the day this Level 53 (now) joined he immediately became friends with another player  and since then nothing new other than he has gone from there to Level 53 without playing a ranked round.

  What is up with that?

  That would be 10,600 credits (or $106.00 in real cash) kind of a hefty investment for never having played a round wouldn't you say?

  Maybe he only plays practice rounds? They don't count towards your stats, but they're very helpful for getting XP points. This is (unfortunately) perfectly within the rules.

  There is at least one level 91 hack. I ran ino hime in an AS game. Hate that because he is matched winf a higher tier and makes for an uneven gam of fun. Games are most fun when the teams are matched closely. Breaks no rules doing it, but stay out of paired games.

  Some do it via level boosts, but an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

  Eehm - a single hole per day promotes Hacks to level heaven. 1000+ days for lvl 94 at no other cost than lifetime.

  Ready as a second account with lots of advantage in any game (most likely with credits involved).

  Alas, it may be wasted effort now that we strive for virtual goods only (almost).

  Will WGT ever revert back to the good old days & put back in place the system of making players move up through the tiers without being allowed to level up at speed to gain the top clubs etc.... and only be allowed avail of the equipment in that particular tier......??

  There was sense of achievement in learning the tier, playing in reasonably level tourneys, and then when you were good enough up ya went to the next tier with a whole lotta new clubs to look forward to in that tier......that was a great incentive and what attracted me to the game.

  I know it has been mentioned many times in the past but I just felt like posting this as I haven't posted to you in the past.......and it is a nice quiet thread without the bickering & arguing....

  That makes a lot of sense mara43.  If WGT made clubs and balls available ony to a tier and level combination there would be a level playing field when we go and play a touney for credits.  Well at least leveler...
