Good Day at WGT

  Hi everyone! My first post. I had a very good day at wgt today! Played a ranked 18 hole round on Bethpage and low and behold I finally got an eagle[4th hole]!!  Ended up with a 70 which is great for me on this course. Started as a TourPro on front 9 then got moved up to Master on back 9 which at first scared the hell out of me[back tees].. but I settled down and enjoyed it. Nice to see that Wgt is finally moving the flag around on some of the holes.  I guess you can say I am one of the ghosts here because I as yet have not friended anyone . I'm over65 and don't know how to do stuff on computers yet!! I've never texted and find the lingo hard to pick up on.  Enjoy the forums although some of them are kind of bitchy!      Can anyone tell me what is meant by problems with VEM??   On another topic: Has anyone done a survey onDaily Surveys, finished about 80% and then got booted out because they said you weren't qualifyed!!! Its happened twice now .Seems like they got what they wanted and didn't want to pay the credits!! Total bull$h-t!! Enough of the rant. Remember this is just a game. Don't take it too serious, have a rum and enjoy!!! And have straight drives...

  They don't change your tier or tees mid round.....lol

  Edit: I see what you did now---playing the front 9 then playing the back 9 in a different game doesn't count as an 18 hole ranked though.

  Welcome in the forums Gary, and congrats to your achievement!

  If you play full 18 hole rounds you may see your progress documented in the course awards on your profile page.

  There are quite a few grey panthers here, retired ppl. There is at least one Country Club naming it.

  Don't be shy to ask questions concerning the game and related computer subjects.

  Yes, vids and surveys are a pain, frequently ppl don't get the money they expect. It's a personal decision whether to "rely" on them or not. I don't.

  Look for a decent Country Club, make some friends - there's lots of fun & good company around!
