I doubt this will be even considered let alone implemented but if you don't suggest it and all that.

We have had mutliple threads about the incredible price of balls and how short a time they last on WGT compared to real life. We have also had numerous replies albeit rarely from WGT representatives on the fact that WGT needs ball sales to supplement their income, (a point I don't accept given their other revenue streams).

    So how about another way?

Perhaps members could elect to stay on the system they are on or move onto this system I am about to suggest, perhaps via some WGT super nation type membership system, perhaps even make us pay for membership, maybe $50 or something like that.

This 'new' system would allow a member to only have one type of ball in his bag at any one time but an unlimited amount of those balls. These balls he / she would buy at full cost from WGT but they would last indefinitely unless they were lost in play. If the player wanted to switch to a different ball he / she would have to discard all of the old balls and buy a new ball or sleeve (at full price) which also would last indefintely unless lost. If he wanted to switch back he / she would have to buy another ball (or sleeve). WGT would still make money on ball sales and we the customer would have balls that would last a decent amount of time.

OK, I'm behind the barricade now, shoot me down!

To save you typing time in future....

I was trying to suggest it could be set up as financially overall neutral, in that they could charge membership and those who switched balls would have to buy more balls every time they switched.

Yeah I understand..you're suggesting they overhaul the whole system to stay 'financially neutral'..

This whole ball issue is like a rash that wont quit!  Yes we all agree that the price is madness for the life they have, especially when the chances of losing a ball is improbably high! its sad that WGT let us bang our heads repeatedly against the wall of profit and things should really change! As long as most of us accept ( reluctantly ) the way things are , i dont see any change in the future. Very sad indeed.
