I am thinking about entering my first "paid for" tournament but am unsure about the payout.

The event is the "PRO TIER OPEN" in January. It costs 200 credits to enter and first prize is 5000 credits, second place is 4000 credits and third 3000 credits. There are currently 57 entries.

Do the payouts carry on the lower down the scoring you go and if so what are they and where do they stop?

I ask because it is very doubtful i could finish in the top three at the moment but would definitely fancy my chances of a top 20 finish and will enter if it is worthwhile.

Thank you for your time......      BlackGibbon(Alan)

I believe  that only the top 3 are paid in that tourny.

Click "Learn More," then "Payout Rules."

Incidentally, the default font for the forum is there for a reason. Bold, italic, and caps are best used for partial emphases. Strictly personal opinion, you're entitled to your own.

You are correct. I just checked and that tourney and all the other monthly tiered premium open tourneys only pay out to the top 3 finishers.

This has only three winners as the tournament conditions will reveil.

For a wager with a chance to win some, enter a Pro tier Ready-Go tournament. 50 entries, 30 winners.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I knew it said top three finishes would be paid out but i thought it may have been the "norm" to pay lower placings as well.
