I just turned to level 42 so I guess I could get these Tour W 60° Wedge (L42+) and Tour W 64° Wedge (L42+) but I don't have the credits. It takes me about 2 weeks to get 75 credits on here.

I was wondering what wedges I should get to help land on the green better, I was looking at the Tour W 54° Wedge (L18+) and the Tour W 60° Wedge (L18+) but the meter speed is fast.

Sent you the L40's 58* and 64* Pings....they should help and don't forget to use the punch shot with them, it's like having FOUR wedges in ya bag :)))

I've not used a punch shot with wedges - what does it do and how does it act? I usually use either a full shot or a pitch - never use a chip either.

Love the info in these forums - I keep trying to learn more about this game.

It changes the yardage on your clubs, for example my wedges are 50, 75 and 100 yrds but with punch I get 41, 62 and 83 yrds. You get more roll out with the punch shot so a touch of backspin may be required.

Vey generous of you Andy I must say, and if the offer is open then please feel free to drop me anything you think would help. I'm not in it to win tourneys (well not yet!), just like to have some fun while I'm exiled from 'real' golf.

I've watched a gazzillion vids to earn free creds over the last few months to earn enough for some irons, putter and driver (I know now I possibly haven't purchased the wisest items, or in the right order.....) and am looking forward to start trying the irons out.

I haven't found a thread that tells you whether starter balls will be affected by the 'spin factor' of a club or whether they 'never spin', do you know?

Strange, having played a few real links courses in my time (and being poor at spinning the ball in real life....) the shot selection, shape and result on WGT, using starter balls and irons, is remarkably similar to my outside game and curiously not so disappointing as it may be for  target golf players  :-).

Anyway, freebees or not, your gesture was very generous.

Hi Andy, I'm level 35, wondering what wedges you'd recommend?  And if you have extra wedges you're givng away, they'd be GREATLY appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Scott
